Our Annual School Supplies Collection

Bridgeport-area children impacted by HIV/AIDS started school in August with new backpacks bursting with school supplies. More than 160 students were provided for through the generosity of our Network friends and volunteers.

Even the Sky Is No Limit

Since 1987, the Evergreen Network was the first nonprofit in the State of Connecticut to provide supportive services specifically for children and family members of people infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Based in Bridgeport, Evergreen provides outreach in schools, courts, clinics and other state agencies on behalf of our clients. We advocate for the various academic, psychological, legal and health care needs of these children.
Our services have been provided on a continuous basis for 20 years. They include children's groups including student mentoring, women's and men's groups, and a special group for grandmothers in sole care of their grandchildren.
We have watched the children of our original Evergreen children's groups flourish as they have matured into adulthood and pursued professional careers, college and more.
Please watch this web address for more information on our programs and updated volunteer opportunities.

If you are a professional who feels your particular gifts might be put to good use here, speak up! Our clients can connect you to your work in electrifying ways.
