Friends Through the Seasons

Evergreen Network provides crucial support services for our clients throughout the seasons. We come through for our families, bridging the gap when cutbacks in federal aid - including the food stamp program - and increases in utility costs impact our clients.

Evergreen provides food to over 50 people at our meetings every week--lunch at our regular women's and grandmother's group meetings, dinners at men and women's groups, and snacks for the children in conjunction with our flagship "Sunshine Kids" program.

Evergreen also provides emergency food gift cards to our clients in crisis.

We are accepting food gift cards from Stop & Shop Supermarket, or Shaw's Supermarkets Inc. When you go food shopping and you want to directly help a hungry person, please pick up a food gift card--$5, $10, $25, $50--and mail to:

Evergreen Network INC
P.O. Box 1002
Southport, CT 06890

Please include a return address--Evergreen is delighted to send a note of thanks and acknowledgment for tax puposes.

20 Years of Service and Compassion

Evergreen Network is pleased to announce our 20th year anniversary!

Since the beginning of the pandemic, ENI has provided services and relief for those affected by HIV/AIDS and their extended families in the greater Bridgeport CT area.

Evergreen lead the way in providing the nation's very first children's support group, "The Sunshine Kids", for children orphaned or affected by HIV/AIDS.

"The Sunshine Kids" along with our women's, our grandmother's, and men's groups, have been meeting on a continual basis for these 20 years.

This past Christmas, ENI was able to serve 87 families with 120 children and 158 adults!

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all our generous supporters, volunteers, and our client families for their continuing efforts and inspiration.
